DESCRIPTION:GTEC is a half-day course offered by the Faculty of Graduate 
 Studies and Research and the Center for Teaching and Learning. \n\nIt will 
 take place on Tuesday May 2\, 2024 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in CK 185.\n\nGTEC 
 is designed to prepare Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) for their roles 
 and to enhance their overall graduate experience while benefiting 
 undergraduate students' learning experiences. The course supports the 
 university's commitment to providing quality education and ensuring all 
 students have a positive and enriching learning experience. The course 
 focuses on high-quality teaching techniques\, grading\, providing 
 constructive feedback\, and fostering a positive learning environment. 
 Participants will also receive resources and guidance on integrating 
 technology and innovative teaching methods to align with the teaching and 
 learning vision of the University of Regina.\n\nBy attending this course\, 
 graduate students serving as GTAs will gain valuable skills and insights 
 that will empower them to excel in their teaching responsibilities and help 
 build their confidence in the classroom. In turn\, this will contribute to 
 undergraduate students' academic success and development\, as the GTAs will 
 be better equipped to meet their educational needs. Overall\, this course 
 reflects the University of Regina's dedication to fostering an inclusive

 recognizing and nurturing the potential of GTAs as educators. It also
