Abstract

We're getting something wrong. Despite our efforts to be inclusive in the classroom, we're still missing something. We still have students who do not enjoy the benefits of inclusion in learning environments. What can we do as pedagogues to design the conditions where students can learn and thrive in their own ways? Let's explore an approach that aims to foster transformative learning by acknowledging individual uniqueness, empowering student voices, embracing complexity, and de-centering the pedagogue, ultimately leading to a more equitable and humanized educational experience.
