Advanced Searching for Science and Engineering Graduate Students Online
In this session, graduate students will learn about academic search techniques for finding information used in STEM disciplines, with a key focus on effectively using the Web of Science search tool. Participants will also explore identifying and matching other platforms and databases specific to an information need/research topic, including when information types like patents, standards, and reference materials are required. Attendees will learn about building search strategies towards retrieving the most relevant information for their search topics.
