In this workshop, Sarah will provide instruction to participants with respect to making one pair of brick stitch beaded dangle earrings. These earrings are an original design by Sarah after the Arrowhead pattern found on historical Métis sashes. The colours used reflect both of the Métis Nation's flags; the white infinity on a blue background, and the lesser-used white infinity on a red background. The upper triangle portion of the earring will be beaded using the brick stitch, with a connected fringe that swings in motion in the lower section. We will be using a slightly larger size of bead--size 8/0--for these earrings as the workshop is designed to welcome any participant from novice, to experienced.
