"Explain Everything Explained” - Dr. Douglas Farenick Online
In this webinar, Dr. Farenick will share an overview of how he teaches Mathematics 103. Dr. Farenick uses the software tool Explain Everything for teaching mathematics in a remote fashion (both synchronously and asynchronously) and for working remotely on mathematical research with graduate students and collaborators. In this presentation, Dr. Farenick will: (i) review how he structured Mathematics 103 as a web-based asynchronous course, which he taught in the Fall 2020 semester; and (ii) demonstrate some features of the tool Explain Everything, for both asynchronous and synchronous web-based teaching. Note: The hardware requirements for Explain Everything are a tablet and stylus.
