ABSTRACT
 
Chunli Gu, Analyst, Manitoba and Saskatchewan Region PHAC will speak on the Pan-Canadian Health Inequalities Reporting Initiative, a joint federal/provincial/territorial response aiming at measuring and monitoring health inequalities in Canada.  The detailed report Key Health Inequalities in Canada:  A National Portrait provides a detailed statistical portrait of inequalities in social determinants of health and health incomes (22 key indicators) across a range of population groups (income, education, employment, material and social deprivation, Indigenous identify, sexual orientation, and cultural/racial backgrounds).  
 
The Health Inequalities Data Tool will be demonstrated.  The tool is an online, interactive database featuring more than 70 indicators from 14 national data sources.
