Graphic Notation/Drawing to Learn In-Person
October 24, 10 AM – 11 AM
Regina/Wascana Room, Library, LY 107.32/.33
Part of the Teaching and Learning Program -
The practice of drawing whether in a notebook, on a whiteboard, or a computer screen, is a powerful way to connect topics, generate ideas and share stories, but people are often hampered by their perceived “inability” to draw. This workshop will demonstrate strategies and methods and facilitate hands-on approaches for everyday use of visual information in the form of ‘push’ (conveying information) and ‘pull’ (gathering information). Materials will be provided. This workshop will build confidence in the dynamic and vibrant practice of drawing whether it is in professional context or just for pleasure.
