Investigating Methods of Non-Traditional Teaching and Learning In-Person

Part of the Teaching and Learning Program -

This workshop outlines interactive, innovative and untraditional classroom activities, assignments and projects. Through clear examples we will define and contrast experiential learning, self-directed learning, community service learning, and problem-based learning. We will also examine ways to incorporate these learning experiences into: large classes, distance education classes, and classes with non-traditional learners inside and outside the classroom context.
