Manage Your Research Identity and Track Your Impact In-Person
This workshop will prepare participants to take charge of their online identity as a researcher, and to track the impact of their research and publications. Topics will include the create of a unique online ID (ORCID iD) to differentiate you from other researchers and tie your various research contributions to your identify, as well as an introduction to using online tools to learn who is citing and otherwise using your work. Both “traditional” metrics and some of the newer alternative measures of impact (“altmetrics”) will be discussed.
This workshop is part of the Research Tune-up Series.
